Our organization’s primary initiatives include helping families protect their property through wills, title transfers, and tax lien prevention. In addition, we buy and renovate properties to provide affordable housing for low-income individuals and families. We transform vacant or abandoned buildings into safe, stable homes while also offering estate planning services to help residents keep those homes in their family. Our work supports stronger communities by preventing property loss and creating opportunities for long-term stability.
Hello, My name is Donna Maria Harris, and I’m also writing on behalf of a grassroots effort here in Montgomery called Hope Forward. We’re reaching out because we believe your foundation cares about giving second chances and making a difference in the lives of young women who need real support and hope.
Hope Forward is a community-driven program that will serve young ladies who’ve dropped out of school, are raising children on their own, or are working hard to overcome drug addiction. Too many of these women feel stuck—without education, support, or direction—and we want to show them that their story doesn’t end here.
We’re building a safe space where these women can:

Get help earning a GED or going back to school

Learn job and life skills that lead to real opportunity

Receive support through recovery and trauma

Access childcare while they learn or work

Be surrounded by mentors and people who care
We’re writing to ask if you would be open to supporting this mission, either financially or by helping us connect with people who can. We are in the early stages, but we have building and land as you see below. The billings will be transferred into office spaces.
We have the vision, and the heart and the knowledge.
